CIRCUS TRAIN UNDER SIEGE

by Elinor Ekman

I never really liked the circus. I went there once, as a child, and what I remember
of it, is that they had creepy clowns and badly treated animals... and I really
mean, very badly treated. I half wanted wild animals to come and take revenge on
the circus people, for torturing their friends and family.

So, when the intergalactic circus train was under siege for that very reason, I had
to ask myself... whose side was I really on?

DISTRICKED

by Steve Fiori

Remind me to never go out for a few drinks with Tish again.

In fact, you should never go out for drinks with Tish.

Unless you want to meet the phantom probably-alien Ninjas... and that’s before we even get to drink!

the past for comfort.

THE KINGS OF AKHATEN

by Jake Reynolds

One day, he will come back. Yes, he will come back. Perhaps I shall return with
him. Perhaps we will make it in time for the beginning of the Long Song, and
maybe the kings will be smiling proudly atop all their peaks. But I fear that may
be a long time. It shouldn't be, but the bridges and waterfalls of Akhaten appear
tarnished by the events of that day. And however far we travel, grandfather and I,
I will not forget the desperation in his voice that day when he tried to save the
world.

THE LAST RIDE

by David Hogan

I have seen wonders far beyond someone such as myself should
have seen. I have been to the future, I have been to the past,
and I have walked on planets far removed from mother Earth.
Now, I find myself missing my home, Percy... my life. Although
he is stubborn, I think The Doctor has relented, though not
before one more special journey, a journey on a train unlike
any other.

This will be my last ride, and it will be one I won't soon forget...

WHISTLE STOP

by the Bunny in the Tardis

A story? You want me to tell you a story, just like that, right off the top of my head? What do you mean, "just make something up?" Why should I? Yes, of course I have a story. Doesn't everyone? And it's a whopper, as they used to say. What? They still say that? Well, bless me!
